This online eLearn RSO Training course is required training for Radiation Safety Officers to meet 10 CFR Part 30.33(a)(3)  regulations for Fixed Nuclear Gauges and also complies with all criteria in NUREG 1556 Vol 4 Appendix D.  Anyone also needing training for Portable Nuclear Gauges can purchase the Optional Portable Gauge Course for Fixed Gauge RSO.   

This course includes 5 lessons; each one divided into several topics.  Once all topics are covered, the course concludes with a final exam covering all topics.  Trainees can review each lesson/topic and take the final exam as often as desired.  You will need to pass the final exam with 80% or better to receive your certificate.

Portable Gauge Add-on RSO Certification

If you also need to be certified for portable nuclear gauges, you can purchase the Portable Gauge Add-on RSO Certification Course option for only $100. This option is only available for those who are purchasing the online eLearn RSO Training – Fixed Gauge course. This optional course is streamlined so it only has one module covering portable gauges and one final exam. Once completed, you will receive a separate Portable Gauge RSO certificate.
