Description
In accordance with 10 CFR 30.33(a)(3) Individuals who are using or working around portable type nuclear gauges and likely to receive occupational doses over 100 mrem in a year are required to receive training to qualify as Authorized Users (AUs). AUs have the responsibility to ensure the proper use, security, and routine maintenance of portable nuclear gauges containing licensed materials.
This Webinar for Authorized User for Portable Nuclear Gauge training course meets all the criteria of NUREG 1556, Vol 1, Appendix C. The course includes three lessons, two practice quizzes, and one final exam. To receive a certificate of completion, the student must pass the final exam with a grade of 80% or better.
The course normally takes one full day to complete.
